Hours are 1pm- 9pm Mon, Wed, Thurs and 10-6 Tuesday and Friday

As a Clinician, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by providing counseling services to your assigned clients including individual, family/group therapy sessions, and promoting an environment of long-term recovery. You will partner with the Clinical Director and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • LCSW required
  • 1+ years of clinical experience working with SUD clients
  •  Strong interpersonal and engagement skills.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality biopsychosocial assessments, referring for trauma screens when indicated.
  •  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
  •  Educate patients on addiction and dual diagnosis to provide a clear understanding of how addiction symptoms often mirror mental health disorder symptoms.
  • Provides integrated, comprehensive care to patients experiencing co-occurring disorders.
  • Utilize a strength-based and trauma-informed approach to support patients in the treatment and recovery process.
  •  Based on assessments and the compilation of clinical and collateral information gathered; refer patients to ancillary therapies.
  • Facilitate educational caseload groups.
  • Provide individualized therapy with each patient on your caseload.
  •  Liaise with patient approved family members to develop and strengthen a healthy support system.
  •  Model effective communication and healthy coping skills for clients.
  •  Complete documentation requirements maintaining quality, up-to-date clinical records. Work collaboratively with all clinical, medical, and residential staff.
  •  Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements.
  • Participate in all clinical staff meetings, staff development, and trainings as required
