Position Summary
Oversees daily operations and coordinates work activities and schedules of MRI/CT technical staff. Evaluates staff performance, records attendance, oversees compliance with all HHS and State and Federal Regulatory Standards
Primary Position Responsibilities
1.Provides technical and non-technical leadership to MRI/CT staff.
2.Sets forth rules and regulations governing departmental operations and work performance.
3.Assures that all National Patient Safety Goals are strictly followed.
4.Assures high-quality MRI’s and CT’s are performed by all MRI/CT technicians on all shifts.
5.Assures that high levels of Patient Satisfaction are maintained and continuous quality improvement achieved.
6.Sets goals for department and maintains current and keen awareness of innovations pertaining to MRI/CT.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology or Business related field
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
3 years MRI and/or CT experience required
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
National registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) with MRI/CT certification and Current CPR/BLS certification for Health Care Providers
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Good communication skills.
Preferred:
Ability to organize and prioritize. Management experience. Formal leadership training. Experience in Medical Informatics. Knowledge of multiple imaging modalities.
